3x3 BASKETBALL
SMALL COURT. BIG GAME.
3x3 is an Olympic basketball discipline played on a half-court, with three players on the court and one substitute. Short games, a fast pace and the crowd’s immediate proximity create an intense competition in which every possession and every decision can change the result.
Every player contributes to creating offence, defending and fighting for the ball. Success requires technical versatility, physical readiness, accurate shooting and strong teamwork. Experience in traditional basketball is an important foundation, while 3x3 brings additional demands: less time to make decisions, greater individual responsibility and frequent contact play.
Competitions take place in city squares, on outdoor courts and in temporary arenas. The international system connects domestic and regional tournaments with Lite Quest and Quest qualifiers and the professional level of FIBA Challengers and World Tour Masters.

2026 SEASON
RESULTS THAT CONFIRM DEVELOPMENT.
The 2026 season was marked by victory at the Lite Quest in Križevci, an appearance at the FIBA 3x3 Novi Sad Challenger, bronze at the senior Croatian Championship and the Croatian U21 title. Young players took on important roles both in their age group and against more experienced senior competition.
- 01
FIBA Lite Quest Križevci: victory
NITUI Jarun won the tournament by defeating Pirot 21–19 in the final. The result secured a place at the FIBA 3x3 Novi Sad Challenger and an opportunity to compete at a higher international level.

- 02
FIBA 3x3 Novi Sad Challenger
The appearance in Novi Sad brought Nitui onto the FIBA Pro Circuit and into games against professional international opposition. Experiencing the intensity, contact and pace of play at that level gave the team concrete guidance for further preparation.

- 03
Croatian Championship: senior bronze
Nitui finished third in open senior competition with a team composed of players under the age of 23. The medal is an important step for a generation already achieving results against older and more experienced opponents.

- 04
Croatian U21 Championship: champions
The title was won by the generation that had become Croatian U19 champion three years earlier and finished fourth at the senior Croatian Championship in 2025. Competing together over several seasons connects these results into a recognisable development pathway.

PLAYERS
GENERATIONS PLAYING TOGETHER.
Players from different generations, backgrounds and basketball profiles competed for Nitui during 2026. Younger players gained competitive experience, U21 and U23 players took on senior roles, and experienced teammates contributed to the quality and collective play of tournament line-ups.
A wider pool allows several teams to compete and line-ups to be adapted to the age category, type of tournament and player availability. This gives more players the opportunity to develop through real games and different roles within the team.
