We collect only the data you enter yourself in the forms on this website: the contact form, the club programme application form and the partnership form. This is usually a name, the applicant's age group, an email address, phone number, place of residence, organisation details and the content of your message. When the applicant is under 18, we do not collect their email address or phone number; instead we collect the name, email address and phone number of the parent or guardian who submits or approves the application. Dates of birth and years of birth are not collected, and health data and other sensitive data are not collected through the web forms. Such data is collected, where needed, only off the website when someone actually joins a programme. Consent for photography, filming or publications is not collected through this website.
We use the data to answer your enquiry, to arrange a possible partnership or participation in a club programme, and to keep the forms secure and prevent misuse (for example automated spam submissions). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us, and taking steps towards a possible agreement or membership. For the news subscription, the basis is solely your voluntary consent.
We send news only to people who subscribed themselves through the separate form in the website footer, with an email confirmation of the subscription. The news subscription is not part of the application or partnership form. Subscribing is voluntary and is not a condition for any other enquiry or for joining a programme. You can unsubscribe in every issue, without giving a reason. For people under 16, the subscription must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
Form data is stored in a database that is part of the platform on which this website is built and maintained (Lovable). For that part, the provider acts as a processor on our instructions. If you consent to analytics cookies, aggregate data about the use of this website is processed in Google Analytics 4, with Google acting as a processor. We do not sell or share data for marketing purposes. Email sending tools are currently not connected to this website; we will update this policy before any such activation.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It is activated solely on the basis of your consent to analytics cookies and is not loaded before it. Analytics is used only for an aggregate overview of how the website is used. We do not use advertising, personalised advertising, remarketing or advertising identifiers, and we do not send form content, names, email addresses or phone numbers to analytics. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Enquiries and applications are kept for a maximum of 12 months after the enquiry is closed. News subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Data we must retain to demonstrate consent or to meet legal obligations is kept only for as long as that purpose requires.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. You may withdraw your consent for the news subscription at any time. Send requests to privacy@bcnitui.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects for you.
Only people who need it for the club's work have access to form data. Data sent from this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection.
